About Me

I’m Sonja —

a storyteller, videographer, journey host, wife, mother, and student of life.

This blog is my trail journal.

A place where Africa, faith, adventure, and everyday life meet.

For many years I searched for meaning in achievement, relationships, travel, and experience. What I’ve come to understand is that life becomes infinitely richer when we stop trying to control every outcome and begin paying attention to what each day is trying to teach us.

Through Muvhimi Buffalo Safaris, Muvhimi Adventure Tours, and Muvhimi Adventure Productions, I have the privilege of walking alongside people from all over the world as they experience Africa’s wild places.

What fascinates me most, however, is not only the wildlife.

It’s the people.

The conversations around campfires.

The dreams people carry.

The fears they overcome.

The stories they tell.

The way every encounter reveals something about ourselves.

Wild Soul Notes is where I gather those lessons.

Some come from dusty safari tracks.

Some from raising teenagers.

Some from marriage, business, and faith.

All of them are part of a journey toward living more fully, loving more deeply, and embracing the extraordinary adventure hidden within ordinary days.

If you’ve ever felt called to something wilder, deeper, and more meaningful—

you’re home.

Unfiltered. Unfinished. Untamed.
